She can be nervous around some strangers, particularly certain men, and she may bark or growl. Therefore, her new family will need to put in extra effort to help her build her confidence, and provide her with ample opportunities for socializing with all types of new people. Because of her timidity and her large size, she needs a home with children over age 9, and an experienced family is preferred. She can be pushy with other dogs and with cats, so she should be separated and introduced slowly to new pets.
